Seedy Sunday

Welcome to Seedy Sunday Brighton, the UK's biggest and longest-running community seed swap event. The next Seedy Sunday in Brighton will be on Sunday 1st February 2015.

Many thanks to everyone who helped make this year's Seedy Sunday such a success - 3000 people came along and about 10,000 packs of seed crossed the seed swap table. See the highlights of the 2014 event in our new video. Let us know what you thought - what worked and what could be improved for next year. Drop us an email or tell us via Facebook or Twitter

If you want a reminder about any of the speakers or to contact any of the stallholders you can download the event programme HERE

Seedy Sunday is under threat and this year's event could be our last. New EU legislation threatens to ban swapping seed, growing heritage varieties and even saving your own seed from year to year. The campaign to stop these draconian proposals becoming law is being coordinated by Garden Organic and The Heritage Seed Library. Would you like to help Seedy Sunday improve and grow? We're always interested to hear from people interested in volunteering for everything from sorting seeds to joining the organising committee. Please email for more details.

Seedy Sunday is supported by The Heritage Seed Library and The Millennium Seed Bank and generously sponsored by Infinity Foods. Thanks also to Big Yellow Storage for their support.
